Services Provided
Intake Evaluation: Intake evaluations are a time for us to get to know you, understand your current struggles, and hear your therapeutic goals. Each intake will end with us providing you with our diagnostic impressions as well as an outline of treatment recommendations to help you meet your therapeutic goals. If we do not believe we’re the right fit for you, we will relay this information to you and provide referrals that would better meet your needs. We will make sure we are both comfortable working together before making any future plans. Please come prepared with any questions or concerns you may have so we can discuss during this session!
Individual Outpatient Sessions: Individual outpatient sessions are between 30-60 minutes long and can occur either virtually or in-person, at our office.
Intensive Outpatient Sessions: We offer individualized outpatient sessions to children, adolescents, and adults with moderate-severe symptoms as well as to those who would like to ‘fast track’ their therapeutic work. These sessions are 2-3 hours long.
Parent-Training/Support Sessions: Parent-training/support sessions are 45-60 minute sessions that focus on equipping parents with the tools they need to support their children’s efforts towards their therapeutic goals. We will work towards goals such as, but not limited to: removing accommodations, coping with the impact your child’s struggles are having on you and the entire family, and building your understanding of your child’s diagnosis and treatment protocol.
In-Home Sessions: Any of the above sessions can be conducted at your home! We do not charge travel time to families living in Montrose (Zip Code: 77006). Home visits in other parts of Houston will include a travel fee, which varies based on the time it would take for us to drive to your home and back to our office. Please contact us for a travel time rate.
Insurance
We do not accept insurance and are not in-network with any insurance company. We will provide you with a Superbill after each session, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance company to see if this is an option for you.
For the Intensive Outpatient Services, we are happy to contact your insurance to help facilitate the pre-authorization for intensive treatment.
Cancellation policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so with at least 24-hour notice to avoid being charged for the full session. Exceptions can be made for infrequent, uncontrollable life events (death in family, car accident, severe inclement weather, school closures, and other such emergencies).
Payment
We accept all major credit cards as well as checks, cash, or Zelle. Payment is required prior to or at the start of each session.
